Technology at Timberline

At Timberline, our classrooms have many tech tools and services to support learning. Students have their own Chromebooks so they can access these resources at home.

Student Tools

• Artificial Intelligence — information about this tool's use in the classroom
• Canvas — a teacher-led digital classroom system for secondary students with family shadowing capabilities
• Clever — a central hub of portals and links for many digital resources.
• Chromebooks — these small laptops are assigned individually to secondary students to carry year-round
• Digital Citizenship and Media Literacy — resources and more information
• Skyward Family Access — the main student information portal (grades, attendance, etc.)
• Google Apps — documents, slide decks, and more to create and share assignments
• Qustodio — internet safety and content filter on all Chromebooks, including family access to reports and history

Family Communication Tools

• ParentSquare — district-to-home, school-to-home, and classroom-to-home communications
• Peachjar — an electronic bulletin board of district, school, and community flyers
