Parking Permit

Parking on campus is a privilege. A limited number of parking permits will be issued based on the number of available student parking spaces. Once all spots are filled, students will be placed on a waitlist. Additional passes will be issued as spaces become available. There is no cost to receive a parking permit.

All students who park at school must have their vehicles registered on campus. Students parking on campus without permission are subject to fines and other sanctions. Please provide these three items in addition to the signed Parking Permit & Contract:

• Valid vehicle registration
• Current proof of auto insurance
• Valid driver's license

Please bring all items to the office. Once approved, students will receive a parking permit that must be displayed in the lower-left corner of their windshield or rear window of the registered vehicle.

Parking Expectations

To ensure safe and orderly parking, students are expected to follow the rules. Failure to do so will result in disciplinary action as outlined, including the loss of parking privileges.

• The permit must be visibly displayed in the lower-left of the windshield or on the rear window of the registered vehicle.
• Permits may not be sold or transferred to a second party. Any student in possession of a permit issued to someone else is subject to disciplinary action.
• Park only in approved student parking.
• Do not sit in cars or loiter in the parking lot. Students may not access vehicles during class time. 
• Obey all posted signs and directional markings in the lot. 
• If you need to drive a different car temporarily, update your information with the Main Office before parking on campus.
• Timberline High School and NTPS are not responsible for damage, theft, or vandalism.

Parking Violations

Vehicles without permits, parking in unauthorized areas, or driving irresponsibly/recklessly may result in immediate disciplinary action and/or loss of parking privileges.

• 1st offense: Verbal or written warning
• 2nd offense: $10 fine and guardian notification
• 3rd offense: $35 fine and school discipline
• 4th offense: $50 boot removal fee and school discipline, including revocation of parking permit
• 5th offense: Vehicle towed at owner's expense and loss of privileges
